Cape Town is one of South Africa’s leading real estate markets, combining strong activity across residential, hospitality, commercial property, development, and alternative sectors. Its international appeal, growing technology and business ecosystem, and established base of investors, developers, lenders, and advisors make the city an important gateway to both the South African and broader African real estate landscape.
Throughout the year, members take part in company visits, investment workshops, case studies, site visits and recruitment-focused formats with firms active across Cape Town and the wider South African market. The chapter also draws on a strong pool of students from the city’s leading university, creating a community with both local market knowledge and international ambition.
As REA expands its presence across Africa, Cape Town also provides an important connection between local talent and the wider international network, creating opportunities for cross-border exchange, industry access, and relationships across markets.
