REA gives firms access to a selected pool of real estate talent across multiple universities, cities and markets.

REA identifies strong students locally, selects them through one consistent standard, and connects them through a single international network. Today, that network is approaching 65 chapters across more than 150 leading universities, creating a level of geographic reach that does not exist elsewhere in early real estate talent.

For partners, the advantage is simple: One relationship can create access to exceptional talent across many markets. That combination of selection and scale is what makes REA different.

A different way to reach real estate talent

Real estate recruitment remains highly fragmented. Universities operate separately. Student organizations are usually local. Employer engagement is often repeated market by market, with different relationships, different standards and limited connectivity between them. REA brings those markets together.

Members are recruited locally but selected according to a consistent global standard, with a focus on students building careers on the capital and management side of real estate. Recruitment combines direct headhunting, applications and a rigorous application process.

The result is not simply a larger student audience. It is a concentrated network of relevant talent across the markets firms actually recruit from.

How partnership works

REA partnerships are built around recruitment, visibility and direct engagement with members.

Firms can activate the network through various event formats (office visits, workshops, case studies, site visits, webinars, city trips…), role promotion, graduate recruitment initiatives and targeted access to relevant member profiles.

The format depends on the objective. A local investment team may want to host a case study with one chapter. A regional recruitment team may want access across several universities through a city trip. A global firm may want coordinated engagement across multiple offices and markets.

REA connects these activities through one network.

Why firms work with REA

  • Selected talent: REA applies the same recruitment standard across its chapters. Members are primarily postgraduate and final-year students with relevant academic and professional exposure and a clear ambition to build a career in the field
  • Access across markets: REA’s chapter structure allows partners to reach talent across multiple target universities and geographies without building separate relationships in every market. Local chapters create depth. Regional and global coordination make that access scalable.
  • Direct interaction: REA places firms and members in settings where they can actually engage. Curated formats give partners a better view of how members think and allow students to understand the firm, its people and its work.
  • Recruitment infrastructure: The REA Platform extends engagement beyond individual touchpoints. Partners can promote roles, access member profiles and connect opportunities with selected talent across the network. REA’s dedicated global team coordinates initiatives and supports partners in executing.

Regional Partnerships

Build a strong presence across one geography.

Regional Partnerships connect firms with several REA chapters within a defined region (EMEA, APAC, North America or LATAM). They are designed for firms that recruit across multiple universities or offices and want one coordinated relationship across that market.

Regional partnerships include:

  • local event formats (office visits, workshops and case studies);
  • cross-border event formats (city trips and chapter exchanges, webinars);
  • targeted role and internship promotion (through REA’s Platform);
  • access to relevant member profiles (through REA’s Platform);
  • graduate and internship recruitment initiatives;
  • regional partner visibility (through REA’s Platform, social media and other channels);
  • participation in wider REA talent initiatives (e.g., IREC)

Global Partnerships

Activate the REA network across regions.

Global Partnerships are designed for firms with recruitment and employer-brand objectives across several international markets. A partner can work with different offices, teams and formats across the network while managing the relationship through one central partnership.

That could mean an office visit in Singapore, an investment case in Frankfurt, a city-trip in New York and global promotion of selected roles through the REA platform.

Global Partnerships include selected local events, cross-border formats, global role promotion, member profile access and wider visibility across REA and its formats.

A partnership that works both ways

Partnerships are a central part of how REA creates value. They give our members direct access to the firms, people and opportunities shaping the industry – and give those firms access to a highly selected talent network across multiple markets.

That is why we treat partnerships carefully. We are not trying to work with as many firms as possible. We want to build long-term relationships with companies that are genuinely relevant to our members, add something meaningful to the network and see the same long-term value in the relationship.
