Speaker panels are one of REA’s most public-facing formats. Local chapters bring together several industry professionals for a moderated discussion around a timely topic, hosted on campus or at another suitable venue.
Different perspectives, one conversation
Panels bring together professionals from different firms, roles or parts of the industry, giving the audience several perspectives on the same issue.
Topics can range from investment markets and financing to development, sustainability, technology or broader changes shaping real estate. The moderated format keeps the discussion focused, while leaving room for questions from the audience.
A wider meeting point
With audiences typically ranging from 50 to 150 students, young professionals and industry participants, speaker panels extend beyond the immediate chapter and create a broader platform around the topic.
The conversation is usually followed by informal networking, giving attendees the opportunity to continue discussions, meet the speakers and connect with others who share the same interests.
That combination of industry insight, public reach and direct interaction makes speaker panels one of REA’s strongest formats for bringing a wider local real estate community together.
