REA Mumbai

Mumbai is the centre of India’s financial and real estate industry and one of the most important growth markets in Asia. The city combines extraordinary urban scale with major activity across residential, offices, logistics, hospitality, infrastructure, and large-scale development, while attracting increasing volumes of domestic and international institutional capital.

The chapter draws on three of the city’s most prestigious institutions — NMIMS, the University of Mumbai, and IIT Bombay — bringing together students from business, finance, engineering, and the built environment. That mix is deliberate: real estate in Mumbai is being shaped as much by infrastructure and construction as by capital, and the chapter is built to reflect both sides.

The chapter focuses on bringing together some of the most ambitious students in Mumbai and creating opportunities for them to engage directly with one another and with leading professionals across the industry. Through company events, investment workshops, site visits and informal formats, members gain exposure to a market that is growing in both sophistication and global relevance.

REA Mumbai will also form an important part of the wider APAC network, with collaboration planned across chapters in Asia and through broader international initiatives. This gives members the opportunity to connect India’s rapidly evolving real estate landscape with perspectives, firms, and peers across the region and beyond.
