Webinars are one of REA’s most frequent cross-border formats. Open to members across all chapters, they create an easy way to learn from professionals, alumni, academic figures and other REA teams – regardless of location.

From technical topics to market insights

The subjects vary widely.

One session might go deep into data-centre and digital infrastructure investment, another into Saudi Arabia’s rapidly evolving real estate market and the capital behind its major developments. Other webinars may be led by REA teams themselves – for example, REA Singapore breaking down the city’s investment landscape, key sectors and how the local market differs from Europe or North America. Another session might feature a senior executive speaking about her career progression and facing setbacks.

That range is what makes the format useful: members can move from highly technical topics to entirely new markets, often within the same week.

Built to be interactive

Sessions are typically structured around a short presentation followed by discussion, questions and direct interaction with the speaker. That gives members the opportunity to go beyond the headline topic, ask detailed questions and hear how others across the network think about the same issue.

Global access to world-class insight

Webinars give members access to perspectives that would otherwise be difficult to reach across markets and geographies.

Within the same semester, members might learn from a senior investor, an academic expert, an industry executive or another REA chapter with deep local knowledge. The result is a highly diverse stream of technical education, market insight and career perspective from people operating at the highest level of the industry.

Because the format is online, that access scales easily across the network – allowing members in different countries and continents to join the same conversation, ask questions directly and learn from each other at the same time.
