Munich is one of Germany’s largest and most established real estate markets, with a particularly strong concentration of institutional investors, private capital, developers, lenders, and advisory firms. Its combination of major corporate headquarters, long-term capital, and high-quality development activity makes the city an important hub for both the German and wider European real estate industry.

Throughout the year, members take part in company visits, investment workshops, case studies, informal activities and recruitment-focused formats with firms active across Munich and the wider German market. The chapter gives members direct exposure to a broad range of investment, development, financing, and advisory perspectives.

REA Munich also forms part of a growing DACH-wide network, with closer collaboration planned across the German, Austrian, and Swiss chapters. Joint events and cross-chapter initiatives are designed to bring members together across the region and create stronger access to firms and opportunities beyond their immediate market.

"Munich has a very strong real estate ecosystem, but what makes REA especially valuable is the ability to connect that local market with a much broader DACH community. That creates opportunities and relationships you simply would not build within one city alone."
—Nicolas C. Autering, President, REA Munich
