Brussels is one of the most important real estate markets in the Benelux, combining a strong institutional investor base with significant office, residential, logistics, and mixed-use activity. As the political and economic centre of Belgium and a major European hub, the city attracts both domestic and international firms and offers members exposure to a particularly diverse part of the industry.

Throughout the year, members take part in company visits, investment workshops, case studies and recruitment-focused formats with firms active in Brussels and the wider Belgian market. The chapter is also increasingly connected with REA’s other teams across the Benelux, with further cross-border collaboration and joint programming planned.

The aim is to build a strong local community while using Brussels’ position within the Benelux to give members access to relationships, firms, and opportunities beyond Belgium itself.

"Brussels sits at the intersection of a lot of different parts of the real estate industry. We want to use that position to give our members access not only to the Belgian market, but increasingly to opportunities across the wider Benelux."
—Mona Andjelkovic, President, REA Brussels
